The Antenatal Clinic is held on Tuesday morning from 9.00am to 12.00noon. It is run by the Practice Midwife. The midwife will contact the patient round 12 weeks and organises her own appointments.
Family Planning
We offer a full range of family planning services and advice on the Pill and other methods of contraception. Make an appointment to see the Doctors during surgery hours.
Emergency Contraception
If you require emergency contraception you will need an appointment with Doctor for this to be prescribed. The morning after pill is effective for up to 72 hours but the efficacy diminishes rapidly with time. The latest information is that it is only 58% effective at 72 hours so you will be offered an appointment the same day. Your request is confidential regardless of your age and if you require a private area to request this please ask reception.
